Game was unbeatable with path I chose

I ended up being unable to get past the preacher because the only spell I put points in was "turn undead," which apparently doesn't work on the preacher. So I went through all that to ultimately be unable to advance.

Glitch

I thought the game was almost unbeatable because I slipped by the giant red guy when he was flashing and then he was unable to chase after me, so instead there was an infinite spawn of green and blue guys and I couldn't rescue kitty. ;_;

Luckily, I was able to realize what happened and beat it on the third try.

Soldiers are weak

Ultimately, with a few well placed towers, there is no need to even pay attention anymore. I ended up letting each wave run its course and towering up the entire field. I also found it weird that the most expensive unit managed to die so quickly.

I did the mid-class

It was somewhat a slow game. The only real strategy goes into your character build, and the cards are all luck. It becomes even more apparent when you fight the king because after going through different strategies, the best one was stacking all the exp points into melee attack or magic attack and hoping one of those popped up with a good couple of curses and stamina/magic drains.

It was ok for a start

1)The shop seemed sort of pointless considering how you only had one fight
2)You could barely tell it was stick men from a vertical perspective until one died, I think a side view would probably be better
3)You should come up with a way for the battle to end smoother as opposed to making the viewer just x out of it

I know its an "engine" but there isn't much constructive feedback to give if its bare bones.

The idea of pressing an action button during at/df

is very reminiscent of paper Mario. I like the idea of AP, but you think possibly you could extend it to the point where it becomes an "automatic" skill (i.e. no longer have to press the button) when it is assigned a button and the adventurer has collected enough AP points?

Pseudolonewolf responds:

But that would take the fun out of using reactions, which are there so then you have something to do while your character's acting or being attacked rather than just watching...

I don't know if this is a glitch

but once I launched 7 missile strikes at once, my prisoner flew infinitely.

With an author like Wonchop, it has to be gold

This was an awesome game with quite an original concept. Its a good holiday time killer, so it shouldn't count against it for not being an epic year long RPG. ;)

Thanks Jubes :3

Highly informative and well designed flash

This reminds me of a flash I made myself, but I like how this is interactive and allows a viewer to sample what kind of reviews are done daily and are appropriate and inappropriate. However, I imagine reviews are not spelled incorrectly as much as they were in the past ever since the spell checker was added.

A++ would recommend to others.

Little-Rena responds:

Ah, thankyou.
I might look at yours if I see it or you link me to it, lol.
Thanks for the review :)

Its an interesting game requiring little thinking

Killing time is always fun.

Wonchop responds:

It sure is.
