Overall good game, but it has some bugs. My game became unplayable when somehow I ended up in a black screen with nowhere to go. You are also able to skip the scene at the inn by simply going out the south side of town and going to the next town, which effectively eliminates the back story discussion with Caleb.

RockLou responds:

I fixed the Caleb glitch.
Anyways, thanks.

Played it twice to get both endings. For the violent ending, given that he was capable of violence, why wouldn't he just kill the chovoks before they killed the humans?

StormAlligator responds:

When he was in the ruins, he just wanted to go to the time machine, he wasn't there to kill all the chovoks on earth, just the ones that stood in his way. He had no clue that they'd follow him in the past.

And when the chovoks arrived, he couldn't do anything, he was outnumbered.

Great game, though it would be nice for a reset feature so that I could get the easter egg the second time around.

ConnorUllmann responds:

You can press <R> and then <Y> to restart, and then you can go back and get it :)

Great, but has a few coding glitches

I had an infinite loop kicking Abobo that couldn't be killed with the first boss when I activated rage and then fell off conveyor, and the game doesn't work in Google Chrome, specifically the arrow keys.

Abobo responds:

I only use google chrome and it worked fine for me...

Great game or greatest game?

Greatest game.

uglyslug responds:

without doubt!

Movie doesn't go anywhere beyond a date

And the fact that you are pretending to be a clock will not change that.

Has potential

The game got monotonous quick, and didn't help that you sort of made the guard character a pecker. I mean, he would just hack anyone instead of showing any mercy. What kind of good guy is that/

SeethingSwarm responds:

Who said the guard was perfect or even a good guy? Humans arent perfect in real life, I wanted to make it a bit different than the usual game where the main character is always a goody tooshoes. This is medieval times where people are not as "civilised" as we are, and they see goblins as a menace.

Anyway, sorry you didnt like that. The guard is just doing what he thinks is best. Sometimes he is a bit unmerciful, but comparing to what they did to the other guard and also how important the princess is, I think his actions can be justified. I mean, he's under a LOT of stress. There's always the factor that he can also see his situation in the game as an opportunity. If he can rescue the princess, there might be big rewards. I'll let the gamer decide on what goes on in the guard's head and justify his actions by using an age old thing called imagination.

The idea of pressing an action button during at/df

is very reminiscent of paper Mario. I like the idea of AP, but you think possibly you could extend it to the point where it becomes an "automatic" skill (i.e. no longer have to press the button) when it is assigned a button and the adventurer has collected enough AP points?

Pseudolonewolf responds:

But that would take the fun out of using reactions, which are there so then you have something to do while your character's acting or being attacked rather than just watching...

With an author like Wonchop, it has to be gold

This was an awesome game with quite an original concept. Its a good holiday time killer, so it shouldn't count against it for not being an epic year long RPG. ;)

Wonchop responds:

Thanks Jubes :3
